1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for half an hour.

If you want to cook in the microwave

1. Put the soaked rice in the bowl kept in the microwave and also add twice the water to the rice, and add lemon juice and salt, now cover the rice and cook in the microwave for 12 minutes. By looking at the rice, you will know that the rice is cooked. Take it out from the microwave, and open the lid.

2. Keep the pan on the gas. Also, Add ghee and heat it, and now add cumin seeds, after the cumin turns brown, add cloves, cardamom seeds, and green chilies, fry for a minute and now add all the green vegetables and salt, stir fry for 2-3 minutes with a ladle. . Now cover the vegetables for 2-3 minutes. Remove the lid and see that the vegetables are lightly cooked. Now add rice to these vegetables and fry for 2 minutes while stirring with a ladle. Pulao is ready.

If making rice on gas

1. Then put ghee in the cooker and heat it, now add cumin seeds, after roasting cumin, add cloves and cardamom seeds and green chilies and fry for 1 minute. Now put all the vegetables. Fry for 2 minutes, and now add rice and fry again for 2 minutes. And put twice as much water as rice, now add lemon juice and salt. Close the cooker. As soon as the pressure comes in the cooker, you turn off the gas. After 5 minutes open the cooker. Pulao is ready.

2. Take out the pulao in a bowl or a big plate. Garnish with green coriander and then Serve with pickle or green chutney.

  1. wash the rice clean . use basmati rice .
  2. soak the rice for half an hour.
  3. you can cook the veg pulao in microwave or in pressure cooker.
  4. remember while adding water into rice the quantity of water should doubled than rice .
  5. you can add tamarind instead of lemon if don’t like lemon . if don’t like tamarind as well as lemon then you can add curd .
  6. you can add olive oil or mustard oil instead of ghee or butter .
  7. you can skip or more add any ingredient if don’t like or like any .
  8. while cooking in microwave cooked only for 12 minutes.
  9. while frying the rice the flame should be medium .
  10. while cooking in pressure cooker remember to closed the handle of cooker tightly .if it will remain loose then any harm will be happen .
  11. you can add cream while plating the pulao .
  12. add coriander or mint leaves while garnishing .
  13. serve the veg pulao with anything because pulao is main course dish .
  14. add salt to taste .
