  3. Green chili – 2
  4. Ginger – 1 inch long piece
  5. Ghee or oil – 2 tbsp
  6. Cumin – tsp
  7. Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  8. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  9. Red chili – less than a quarter teaspoon
  10. Cashew nuts – 25-30 (2 tbsp filled to the top)
  11. Cream or cream – 100 grams (half cup)
  12. Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
  13. Salt – to taste (3/4 tsp)
  14. Green Coriander – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

  1. Cut the paneer into square pieces.
  2. Put 1 tbsp oil in a non stick pan and fry the paneer till it turns light brown.
  3. Soak cashews in water for half an hour and grind them finely and take them out in a bowl.
  4. Make a paste by grinding tomatoes, ginger and green chilies with a mixer.
  5.  Remove the paste and keep it in a bowl. Also churn the cream in a mixer.
  6.  Put ghee or butter in a pan and heat it.
  7. Put cumin seeds in hot ghee.
  8. When cumin turns brown, add turmeric powder and coriander powder, fry lightly and add tomato paste to this spice and fry it with a spoon.
  9. After roasting the tomatoes, add cashew paste and cream and stir the spices with a spoon until the oil starts floating on the spices.
  10. Add water to this spice as much as you want to keep the curry as thick or thin as required.
  11. Also add salt and red chili and mix.
  12.  When the curry starts boiling, add the pieces of paneer and cover it and let the vegetable cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
  13. so that all the spices get absorbed inside the paneer.
  14. Shahi Paneer Sabzi is ready. Turn the gas off.
  15. Save some green coriander, add green coriander and garam masala.
  16. Take out Shahi Paneer curry in a bowl.
  17. Garnish by adding green coriander on top.
  18. Serve hot shahi paneer with rice, naan, paratha or hot chapati and eat it.
