Description

KARONDA is a type of berry which is mostly used to make pickles , jams , chutney , and other. karonda pickle is very easy to make . this is used to make pickle , jams ,chutney etc. because it has various medicinal benefits .it has high vitamin c , iron and other . it is used in the treatment of anemia . it help in growth and tissue repair .it is also good for lungs and secretion of bile.

Ingredient
  • 250 grams karonde ( natal plum)
  • 1/3 cup mustard oil
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fennel
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ajwain
  • 2 teaspoons Fenugreek seeds
  • 3 teaspoons Yellow Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon red chili
Instructions
  1. Always use a clean and dry spoon while taking out the pickle.

  2. Wash and clean Karonda with water 2 times.

  3. use low flame where needs.

  4. use clean and glass container which is closed from all sides . so, that pickles can store for a long time.

  5. chop chilies into medium pieces

  6. add crushed spices in hot mustard oil.

  7. cover the pickle with thin cloth.

  8. To keep the pickle for a year, heat so much mustard oil in the pickle and put it in the pickle so that the pickle remains submerged in the oil.

  9. use mustard oil because it well for making pickles.

  10. add salt according to taste .

  11. add chilies according to taste .
